Artist Noble Richardson
Noble painted the huge mural which adorned one wall of the Diamond Sutra Restaurant; examples of Noble's early silk-screen prints are shown below. The painting above was completed in 1975.
For many years he resided in 29 Palms, adjacent to the Joshua Tree National Monument; his camper-pickup was his mobile studio and Noble spent countless hours camping and painting the monument's unique landscape and plants. He also spent considerable time in Baja California.
Kurt loved Noble, and vice-a-versa.
